Speed Deadlift & Heavy Squat
Deadlifts are important in strongman so we will train them for speed here whilst improving leg strength with a heavy squat variation followed by assistance work.
Speed Overhead
Speed work for a strongman overhead variation such as monster dumbbell jerks followed by assistance for the upper body
Heavy Deadlift & Events
Add kilos to your deadlifts then perform 1-2x strongman events to ensure you are ready to compete!
Strength | Upper
Maximal strength is the mother of all qualities and we find under-trained in the athletes that first come through our doors. If all other factors are equal, maximal strength can be the game changer in your sport of choice.
Modified Strongman Training
MST has been on every Saturday at Winning Strength since 2009! This is our group session that is free for members but also available to non-members.

These sessions are executed at the athletics track at Southampton Sports Centre. We will develop your acceleration, change of direction and maximum speed.

Heavy Overhead
This session will compromise of a heavy overhead lift on a strongman implement such as the log, followed by assistance work.

This is our Day pass! Gym is unmanned, no coach on gym floor.
